Here are some common questions that the new shooter and first-time gun owner may have. If your question is not answered below, please don’t hesitate to email us and we’ll answer promptly.

Do I have to own a gun to take your course?

It is not necessary to have your own firearm. “Dummy” guns will be used in class and firearms can be rented at the shooting range during qualifications for a small fee.

Do you offer Women-Only classes?

Yes, we do! Check our Course Schedule for the Women-Only sessions.

I’m ready to buy my own firearm, but I don’t know how to choose. Can you help?

Absolutely! Part of our instruction will help to educate you on which gun is right for you. Also, we’d be happy to assist you at the gun shop when you’re ready to purchase.

Do I need to have any firearms or shooting experience to take the course?

No. We start right from the beginning and gear our instruction for the new shooter and first-time gun owner. No experience necessary.

Is there an age requirement to take the course?

Yes. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to take our Pistol course.

Can I bring my own pistol to the course?

Of course! We encourage you to bring your own pistol, but please, NO AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM.
